A modern method of treating hemorrhoids that can be used in all stages of the disease. It is the method of choice in the treatment of hemorrhoids. It is a minimally invasive procedure and does not require general anesthesia, thus no hospital stay. The risk of complications such as sphincter insufficiency or anal canal stenosis is lower than with classic surgical treatment. In addition, the degree of pain is many times less or completely absent. Patients are often able to return to work immediately. In some cases, a rehabilitation period of up to a week is required. During treatment with this method, the doctor inserts a thin laser fiber optic into the hemorrhoidal nodule, which irradiates it from the inside, thereby "coagulating" it with little or no trauma to the submucosa and mucosa.
